Back to work at the course after 3 months! New computor system to learn plus a totally renovated clubhouse!

Worked on a few more renovations of my own. Updated our handrail over our stairs.

Sitting in the Orlando airport so we can fly to Newark to get on a cruise that stops at Cape Canaveral on Tuesday. Then onto the Bahamas. Daught#3 and family are joining us. Good times. ❤️

P.S. No, they wouldn't let us skip 2 days and board in Canaveral. 🤬

fatshot Cataract surgery today at 1:00. The hardest part is not being able to eat / drink anything until the surgery's

I had the same feelings when I had cataract surgery but it was mostly worth it. Immediately after the surgery they took me into the room where they test your eyesight. I was 20/20 and happy as hell. I had a couple of "floaters" but they mostly went away within a week. When I went back for my checkup a couple of weeks later my eyesight was 20/25. I was still satisfied. I still get floaters from time to time but the thing I had the most trouble with is my Dr. said that I could choose between seeing close up but maybe needing glasses to see farther out (as I always had been) or being able to see far out but needing glasses to read. I chose that I wasted to see farther out because I was sick of needing glasses to drive my car and to play golf. That's what he did and although I was happy with it that way, I had a heck of a time getting used to needing glasses to read, clip my fingernails or anything close up, like shaving. All in all I happy with what he did for me.

Three weeks out on my left eye....two weeks out on the right. The left eye is fine.....the right eye has some astigmatism, so my eye doc says that'll wind up being 20/30, and need glasses for correction. I'm scheduled for an eye exam and new Rx Friday, after which I'll get new glasses. I'll need glasses to read and maybe a little bit of correction for distance (driving, playing golf, etc.). Glasses are no big deal to me, as I've worn them since I was about 13 years old for distance, and bifocals / trifocals the last 10 yrs. or so for up close. Besides, I think I look a helluva lot OLDER without glasses than with them! Also, I'm sick of wearing these dime store cheaters on the end of my nose to read with, LOL

I don't have floaters, but I have noticed that it takes me an hour or so after I wake up in the morning before I'm seeing
REALLY clearly. PITA.....hope that disappears with time, but I'll sure be asking my Doc about that. They tell me
that everybody heals differently.....

I've been working to get my snow blower on the John Deere lawn tractor working again. Yesterday I was cleaning
up the 3" that fell Thursday and Thursday night and had to use the lawn tractor to do it because the snow was so wet and heavy that the smaller blowers wouldn't handle it without plugging up the chute. I was 2/3 done when I broke the cable that controls that manual power take off. I called my local John Deere dealer and of course they didn't have one. He said that according to his computer their sister dealer in Jackson, MN had one in stock. I ended up driving the sixty miles to Jackson to get the part. I installed the part and put everything together again and it worked fine, except that I must have missed hooking up a wire to the battery terminal that controls the electric actuator lift that lifts the snow blower. I found a loose wire and hooked it up. It didn't help and by now I'd had a long enough day and gave it up until today. We were supposed to get 3"-5" more snow today that should end by 3PM CST. It's been snowing but not that hard. It looks like we won't have more than another 2" to me. I still have get back out to the garage and try to track down
if there's another wire that I missed hooking up or whatever. Hopefully it won't take long because it looks like the snow
is almost done with us for today. I'd sure like to get it all cleaned up and have a week or more without getting more snow but they are already talking about the likelihood of more snow next Wednesday.

Like I said March 1…. Here comes winter in Massachusetts 🙄. We go all winter again with barely any snow and record high temps only to have March come around with the hope of golf courses opening early and Bang!!!! Snow every week. Now Tuesday this coming week we’re getting a huge storm with snow. Wtf… I hate March. I always say, so much promise amd it’s just goes down the drain

Very little. Washing clothes. Fertilized my tomato seedlings. Watching TPC and chipping into the couch with a pitching wedge and working on putting technique. Be watching the University of Memphis game after the golf.

that patients in the upper Midwest get sent to if their surgeon screws up. His name is Vance Thompson and his
main facility is in Sioux Falls, SD.

Tried removing battery box, battery, loosening injector harness to try to get enough clearance to remove the camshaft position sensor on my wife's SUV. No go. I'm going to order a 10mm fine tooth ratchet wrench and have at it again. This sucks.
