Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Brewed a couple more batches of home brewed beer -Wicked Irish Stout
and Dante's Delight Weizenbier. These are my 4th and 5th batches since
Christmas.
First brew - Golden Ale.
Second brew - Octoberfest.

Third brew - Canadian Blonde

Sarnella Brewed a couple more batches of home brewed beer

I brewed one batch of beer back in the 70's. It made about 48 bottles. I bought the ingredients and basic equipment from a local shop. I used well water from my property that had some sulphur content. It smelled awful when I bottled it but decided to chill and try it anywho. I invited my friends over to try it and it turned out actually pretty decent. The only downside was that when you belched it burned your eyes. That was my only attempt at brewing. 🤣

OK, now I'm thirsty!! 🍻 I brew my own beer as well. I've done it from scratch, but there's a local craft brewery that sells kits of its products and it's so much easier so that's what I do most of the time.

Drove to Del Mar today. Picked up last boss's 6 horse trailer, I get to use it Monday morning to haul 4-5 to Del Mar. When I left it was starting to rain, it rained almost the entire trip down and back.
When I got to Del Mar fairgrounds it was dry and I'd been out of the rain for 30 or so minutes. When I got back to San clemente san Juan area it was raining again... rained all the way home and it's still raining a bit here. Got just over 3" here at home.
Got a few notifications about flash floods on the way home as well...

I keep it even simpler. I just go up to the drive-in window and ask for Bud Light or Miller Lite. Most would think that I am more into "piss" beer than "craft" beer. 🙃

Rickochet Haven't seen a drive-thru alcohol place. Miller Lite is not beer BTW😎 Perhaps all that sewer work (still ongoing?) has impacted your sense of taste.

We don't drink beer. That's simplerer. Except when I go to buy it for guests......then I'm clueless, so I just ask what they like before they get here. 😉

Most liquor stores here have drive-up windows like the fast food places have. Been drinking Miller Lite since it came out in the 70's since we couldn't get Coors at that time. Sewer work still ongoing. They got our house tied into the new main on Thurs.. Having to go 20' deep with 5' of rock at the bottom makes things go slowly. They have our old street main disabled and are pumping the sewage from one manhole upstream to the one downstream with a 6" hose. There are two huge diesel pumps running 24/4 about 75' from our bedroom. We can hear the constant droning of the pumps all over the house.

The crew doing this are very good and trying to minimize unnecessary damage off the pavement. I am fortunate to live on a corner and have access out another street. The project is moving upstream left to right takes a left turn at the intersection and goes away from me. Those people are going to have some access issues. The crew is only 4 - 6 guys and they are adding one joint of pipe at time and shoring structures for safety. It is just an agonizingly slow process.

Rickochet Planning to sell my house and wouldn't mind having all new pipe as a selling point. Ask if they do shingles?
