Rickochet Sneakylong Having some basal cell skin cancer cut out on my chest this afternoon. Just the result of living in the sunshine state. Good luck. I had one taken out of the middle of my forehead a few years ago. The procedure was not big deal but the four injections I got to numb the area was the worst I have ever gotten and felt like hornets from hell.
johnnydoom backinit Don't know the details, but in general it sucks that you bring your car to a repair shop and they won't replace a sensor.
Ynotgolf johnnydoom They may not be qualified to do that repair. Need to take it to a dealer where they will charge you again to diagnose it. If not under warranty it may cost a lot.
johnnydoom Working. Trying to upgrade my home PC from Windows 8.1 to 10. 2.5 hours into it and still not fully installed yet. 😴 Son should be coming home for the weekend later today. Was going to smoke a pork shoulder for supper tonight, but rain all morning has kept me away from starting the fire. I guess we'll be eating out somewhere tonight.
LBlack14 Cut and hauled trees all day. Now, a well earned beer & some tunes. Hoops tomorrow, District finals vs. Springboro, who we beat by 19 earlier this year. Knock on 🪵🪓.
johnnydoom Ynotgolf Probably not. In my case, they wouldn’t be qualified to do any repairs if they couldn’t or wouldn’t tell me up front that they won’t do certain work on my model car.
Ynotgolf backinit Doesn't look that hard to change it out, but I suspect an independent shop may not want to do it.
colej backinit Maybe it’s job that turns into a bigger job? Bolts break, sensor breaks off in the block or cover, have you checked on availability of the part? Not saying that you should do it but maybe the part is just not due to be in stock for a while?
Sarnella Brewed a couple more batches of home brewed beer -Wicked Irish Stout and Dante's Delight Weizenbier. These are my 4th and 5th batches since Christmas. First brew - Golden Ale. Second brew - Octoberfest. Third brew - Canadian Blonde
Rickochet Sarnella Brewed a couple more batches of home brewed beer I brewed one batch of beer back in the 70's. It made about 48 bottles. I bought the ingredients and basic equipment from a local shop. I used well water from my property that had some sulphur content. It smelled awful when I bottled it but decided to chill and try it anywho. I invited my friends over to try it and it turned out actually pretty decent. The only downside was that when you belched it burned your eyes. That was my only attempt at brewing. 🤣
Supp Sarnella OK, now I'm thirsty!! 🍻 I brew my own beer as well. I've done it from scratch, but there's a local craft brewery that sells kits of its products and it's so much easier so that's what I do most of the time.
Walterjn Drove to Del Mar today. Picked up last boss's 6 horse trailer, I get to use it Monday morning to haul 4-5 to Del Mar. When I left it was starting to rain, it rained almost the entire trip down and back. When I got to Del Mar fairgrounds it was dry and I'd been out of the rain for 30 or so minutes. When I got back to San clemente san Juan area it was raining again... rained all the way home and it's still raining a bit here. Got just over 3" here at home. Got a few notifications about flash floods on the way home as well...
