Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Girls beat Olmsted Falls yesterday, by 16, in the Classic in the Country. #2 in the state, I'm told. So inside of a week, they've beat #1 & 2. Pretty good week. They play Bolingbrook @ 3.

CallMeAl What did you go with for countertops? We are discussing a kitchen cabinet refinishing and replacing countertops. We have rounded edge lamininate and at 16 years old with a kid they are showing their age.

Went to the golf course and ran a backpack blower to blow moisture off the greens. Then it started raining again.
After that I went to Santa Barbara and got the part I ordered. I changed it out right in the parking lot. Then went to the boss's house and took a walk with her and the dog.
I'm getting ready to head to Carson City tomorrow, supposed to be running horses around for the rest of the week...

Bullet temporarily dodged. Was starting to feel a bit cold and noticed the house was 5 degrees colder than normal while I was cooking supper. After supper, climbed into the attic, unplugged the power to the controller/fan unit. Waited a couple of minutes and plugged it back in. Came back down and turned the system back on and heard the comforting sound of the flame lighting and pre-heating start. Back to normal now. That furnace and controller are 27 years old and I’m afraid we’re living on borrowed time. Baked salmon, turnip greens, and croissant rolls for supper. Haven’t done squat the rest of the day except watch a movie and drive the daughter to band practice.

Made a couple of golf related gizmos down in the shop today.
Something I've wanted for a while, a lie angle tool.
Found a magnet with a cover that had a hole in the middle and added a
1/4-20 6" long screw to it......$5.75

Also made a couple of shaft adaptor pulling tools so I don't mess up anymore adaptors.
These fit my Ping G410 and TM M2's, a M4 x 22 screw welded to a thick washer that I knurled.
Some adaptors pull off just like pulling a head, others like the G410 use a rubber like ferrule that fits
partially inside the adaptor....leave it to Ping to do something a little different.

Works well......prior to buying it I took the screw out from the head and used it with a lil ingenuity for a washer for the proper leverage. Rex's bro's puller is still rocking!

I use the screw/fender washer method with a butane micro torch and have never damaged an adapter.

sdandrea1 Just like it shows in the pic in ode's link. I use the screw that is in the head/adapter.

The adapters are not steel, and are painted. The 2 reasons I never use a flame......ask me how I know not to do this.🤔

Currently on my way to Carson City. Plan is for me to get there this afternoon, stay the night and tomorrow morning head to San Diego with 4 horses. Drop those 4 off anywhere from San Diego to Newbury Park. Stay the night somewhere and head back to Carson City with 1im picking up in San Diego...
Supposedly there is another run from Carson City to Sacramento with 2. The maybe haul horses to del Mar for a show on Monday... Then home...
