My tire pressure warning light came on in my truck last week which is not unusual when it gets cold. I pumped the tires up and noticed that the left rear was much lower than the others but all were below the warning light limit. Yesterday the light came on again. I suspected the left rear and while pumping it up I saw what looked like a rock in the tread. Upon closer inspection it was a fucking roofing nail. Looks like a trip to the tire dealer. Shit. 😡

I did get to use my Worx cordless inflator. This little dude is incredible. It is very small but very powerful and uses the Worx power share batteries. It does up to 150 psi and I think it is supposed to be able to pump up a full size tire from flat to full in 2 minutes. It has digital display. It shows the tire pressure when you turn it on. Just punch in desired pressure and off it goes and shuts off automatically. Me likey. 😁

Went out and brushed off any remaining snow from the truck and moved it to get the car out. Messed around a while in the garage but had to get back inside outta the heat.
Horrible time of the year to be out. Wish it would cool off a bit.

Family coming over for delayed Christmas lunch. Kitchen sink completely clogged last night. Great timing as usual. Shit. The clog is probably 20' from the sink and 20' from a disconnect in the basement where I can get to it. I have a Worx 25' auger that self forwards as you crank but it still a PITA. I put some non toxic cleaner down the drain last night called "Green Gobbler" but it didn't do squat this time. The last time I called a plumber for this he augured it out using the disconnect in the basement laundry room. He got it unclogged using his drill powered auger but slung black nasty shit all over the room and hanging ironed laundry. My wife was not amused.

Rickochet Ugh, that sucks. And you hate to take shit apart, break something, and then need a plumber that you can’t get over there because of the holiday.

I had a small issue Christmas Eve morning, called our plumber, got a recording… tough shit until Tuesday. Called our old plumber, old school guy who has known my wife forever. He was out on the roads, talked us through it and said if we needed him he’d come by.

I wasn't going mess with the drain today since my son and family were in from Minnesota for Christmas. I ordered a big lunch online this morning from Sonny's BBQ with ribs, sliced brisket, pulled pork, 4 sides and cornbread. I was to pick it up at 11:30 with company arriving at 12:00. At about a mile from my house with lunch in the car I get a text from my DIL that my son had tested Pos for covid and they were packing up to head home. So, they stopped by and we exchanged gifts out in the yard then headed out for home which is a 14 hour drive. We ordered a family meal for 4 and probably have enough for 8. I hope this is the last surprised for the day.
