Walterjn Sorry to hear it and even when you half expect it to happen you sort of feel weird being on the outside. Just remember, she’s the one moving, can’t expect you to uproot and follow her. Plus, with the drama between her, the landlord etc… you being sort of hung out to dry on that last trip 🙄🙄. She also expected a lot of you at the drop of a hat. She doesn’t realize that but she’s gonna miss that. She’ll find another way, but it won’t be as easy as having Walter around.
Like Subsonic said, a hard worker won’t be out of work for long ( unless you’re old🙄). I ended up talking to the owner of the golf school that I knew just from being there at the range. Got a gig with him and then when the pro shop mentioned to him that they needed help he suggested me… and I got in. If it weren’t for my wife, I’d still be a happy guy there only. The Taylormade thing came along because they saw my resume.
I like the tye dye idea, I think this being layed off thing will make you try to make it more than a hobby! Which you can do. You’ll have time…. Collecting unemployment, you probably get 6 months of that which is great to get the tye dye thing running. How about working at the golf course? Grounds crew, pro shop…
