Rickochet Sarnella Damn first world problems.😜 Our Krogers sucks. I live in the state capital and we have two Krogers and one Walmart. I hate Walmart plus their meat sucks. They also have 100% U-Scan which is always backed up. The Krogers nearest to my home has been awful since Covid started. For whatever reason they are always short of personnel. Many times you have to get your own cart out in the parking lot. They have about 10 checkout lanes but only two usually open with ten carts in line. There are 5 Uscans at each end of checkout but usually one is closed. They have no item limit on the Uscans and when people see the checkout lines they try to checkout a full cart at Uscan which is almost impossible to do and it is usually people who aren't familiar with Uscan so the Uscan quickly gets a waiting line of 20. Before I even start shopping anymore I look at checkout and have often gone back home. I am surprised that there have been no fights, shootings or suicides at Krogers yet. Rant : OFF 🤬
Bravopilot Rickochet Where? You mentioned 1 hospital, always thought of most capitals as larger cities. I want to move to a smaller place. Las Cruces soon, maybe in 2023.
sdandrea1 Just finished cutting grass/trimming/leaf blowing at Church. Headed to Cape Canaveral to take granddaughter #2 out for her 16th birthday. Damn, where did the time go?
Walterjn Here the top of the fuel tank. That is the spot where the fuel level sender is, supply line (bottom right hose), the return line and the tank vent are all located. Normally there is an aluminum cover screwed down over that. You can see the 2 tabs that it screws on to. I'm leaving it off for now just in case I need to do more fuel line work on the trip home.
Walterjn Par4QC yes I am. That one should be the vent hose. I managed to drop the one on the supply line and couldn't reach it, so I stole that one. I'll replace it when I get home.
Rickochet Bravopilot Where? Frankfort, KY which is about 50 miles east of Louisville and 25 miles NW of Lexington. It doesn't have the big city negatives but it has limitations like limited shopping, restaurants etc. 2020 population was 28,602. I call that small. Also one muni golf course and one private CC.
Bravopilot Rickochet Agree that is small. like that. Las Cruces is not small than, 99K. Smaller than the DC Greater metro area where I am now.
Sarnella Rickochet Our town is 14,000 people, much more in the summer. We have 4 grocery stores( 1 independent and a Walmart, Aldi and Cub Foods, and about 15 convenience stores/gas stations. No shortage of places to get food. Oh, and two dollar stores.
braveheart Walterjn you can up your membership immediately when they tell you the limitations of what you presently have. At least I know you could do that a few years ago. What a nightmare for you.
Walterjn braveheart I had asked when I had them on the phone. I was told that she COULD upgrade, only problem is it would kick in in 7 days... I tried...
Typhoon Got the Generator started in case I need it tomorrow. It’s funny, had it for years, have used it once. Started it last year I think. Started it today… took a few pulls but I’ll tell ya, Sta-BIL in the fuel is amazing.
Par4QC Sarnella Cub Foods WTH....thought HyVee got all of them? And shut them all down. Cub had the best meat I've ever seen/tasted, and I grew up on a farm!! Nothing has ever been like it.
Rickochet Sarnella Aldi and Cub Foods, I forgot we have on Aldi which I think sucks. We also have a small grocery Save-A-Lot but has limited stuff. We also have the usual assortment of gas stations and convenient stores that also have limited groceries but at a very steep price.
