Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Could be plugged up? Inside lining of the fuel tank could’ve delaminated and plugged up the pump?

colej Got it but how can you bypass the fuel pump and have a running vehicle? I know a lot about how cars/trucks work. Unless he some how bypassed the vehicle wiring and wired direct. You ain't going no where without a functioning fuel pump.

colej doubtful, aluminum fuel tank. That pump was noisy from the get go.
The aluminum fuel tank has a suction straw going to the top, then 3/8" hose through the bed to the electric lift pump. That pump is 9" from the fuel line the goes directly to the filter. The feed line from the tank to the pump has enough extra that I can plug it straight to the fuel line. It's not difficult to do, it is REALLY messy if you don't disconnect the hose from the tank before you disconnect it from the pump. I ended up losing a few quarts before I was able to get the hose onto the hard fuel line. It isn't easy to get everything lined up when you have a fat thumb in the way..🤣

It was 44-4 @ half. Pay turned her ankle in the 2nd quarter. Came out with an ice pack on, done. Our side had a good crowd. I came home @ halftime.

Pump on the rail and a mechanical pump on the engine. The electric pump keeps the mechanical primed. The electric pump could be bypassed with some hose, or hose barb fittings?

Ynotgolf 94 gallon fuel tank on top of the bed with 60+ gallons has a good siphon ability, and seeing how it is diesel, the injection pump pulls it from the filter. Not the best idea, yet it'll do in a pinch.
I have already gotten a new electric fuel pump installed and working fine now.
Once I bypassed the dead pump, I pressurized the tank with the on board air to force fuel through the filter and upto the injection pump. Happily most of the drive back to Carson was down hill, with only 3 small climbs. She ran 60-65 the whole way and I was just cruising and not pushing her.

Fortunately you have Dr. Shithead there to diagnose the injury. Seriously, I had a similar injury in my teens and it haunted me for quite some time. It might seem like of an overreaction but you might want to have a doc look at that.

LBlack14 damn, that ain't good. Might want to seriously consider getting that to the Dr. Make sure that it isn't too bad, twisted ankle is bad. Hopefully not any worse than that.

Ynotgolf honestly, I probably should have suspected the fuel pump 1st. It was noisy from day 1, the one I just put in I can't hear at all... The one I want is a pump/ filter set, it's also expensive.

LBlack14 Can she put any pressure on that ankle? Hopefully she does a good job icing it and getting a wrap on it and that maybe it’s more of a strain than a sprain? Either way, I hope she takes good care to f it and heals up fast!

Gonna hit the grocery store at opening and avoid the crowds to get a prime rib roast and some seafood for Christmas eve dinner and other fixins for Christmas Day breaky, then after lunch have to drive my son back to University to write his last exam that was rescheduled due to a snow storm last week.

Weirfan You are a braver man than I. No more shopping of any sort for me until after Christmas. Went out to get some art supplies for my daughter and some groceries on Tuesday and would have thought it was black Friday if I didn't know the date.

Nothing much going on here. Last day of work for the year and I'll probably be one of very few that didn't take off. I doubt there will be much other than lingering paperwork and online training to keep me busy. Bracing for the cold to come and will just be hanging with the family around the house all day as far as I know.

I hope your luck is better than mine was yesterday. We did online ordering for curbside pickup at Krogers yesterday for the final things needed for Christmas. We do this for most of our shopping and it usually works well and takes 10 minutes. Yesterday my PC shows that my order is ready to pickup at 10:30. I get there and check in by phone. I wait and wait while I see groceries come and go and people getting their shit and leaving that got there after I did. After 1/2 hour I grab the guy bringing the groceries to find out what is going on. He comes back and tells me my stuff won't be ready until after 12. After busting his chops I go home and come back at 1:30 after my wife checked to make sure stuff was ready. All of the 4 lines are three cars deep and there is only one dude bringing stuff out. It took me another 45 fucking minutes to get my groceries. I guess it was the perfect storm with a lack of workers, upcoming storm and Christmas. It seemed like I spent half of my day at Krogers. And to top it off after leaving Kroger the first time I stopped by Wendys for drive thru lunch. They gave me the wrong order. I did catch it before I drove off but it took forever for them to fix the wrong charge and get me the right order. What a day.
