Woke up this morning and went outside to a flat, back, right tire @ 5am. Plugged in the air compressor went out started putting air in it and I hear air coming out of it. Go grab the flashlight and start shining around and low and behold on top side of the tire is what appears to be a hollow piece of steel or tube. I don't have time or patience to plug it in the morning so I wait and come home and do it after work. I have no help so I'm in an out of the car to try to get the thing to where I can pull it out and plug it which turned out to be a serious pain in the ass, literally. Had to get it in the right spot and jack it up. A bitch getting a thing out, a bitch getting the tire reamer in and out, tried to get two plugs in it and could not. Had to pull it back out and put one plug and glue in it and hope it holds. Anyway, long story short, 3 hours later I pull this out of my tire. It didn't come easy, believe me. How in the fuck this thing got in my tire is beyond me. Almost like it had to be set up. In the process I noticed that one of my lug nuts was loose from tire rotation Wednesday. 2 hours later I can barely move. Up and down and crawling around on the cold ass concrete is beyond me, these days. Now, anybody have any idea what this is?? Looks like it fastens into something and it's hard ass steel and hollow. Perfectly placed in the direct, center tred of the tire. How didn't it bend??
