Watching the rain fall from hurricane Laura as she veers to the east now. She ran straight up the gut of Arkansas and now is drifting over us, but much less fierce than the folks in TX, LA, and AR had to face yesterday. We did get winds and rain from the outer bands yesterday, but nothing like the initial coastal impact or the tornadoes spawned elsewhere inland so far.
Got my EGO battery powered string trimmer and edger combo delivered and assembled last night. Won't get to try them on the lawn for another day or two given the weather, but it feels as powerful as the residential gas versions - I think I'm going to like them a lot. Settling down for a day of work now if the power stays on.
