Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Played 18 this morning with my son at The Duke in Maricopa AZ. Not too hard of a course but fair. Tale of 2 9's. Shot a front 9 41 and 47 on the back. 6 of 9 greens on the front and played well. I had a triple on a par 4 on the front because my wedge decided to have the yips for 2 chips in a row.🤬 The pace on the back 9 slowed to a crawl and my game went straight to hell. The round took 4:45. I took out my new to me No Brainer shafted with a Kuro Kage and it performed pretty well. Turns out I can still hit a 9° driver.

My 16 year old hung with me to start the back 9. He was beating me through 4 holes and was tied with me through 6. The heat got to him and he lost it on the last 3. He hit a couple of 220 yard drives on the back nine. He is a small kid so those were big drives for him. He was having fun and that is what counts. All in all it was a good morning minus the slow play.

I'm back from attending a limited attendance worship service is our chapel. I'll chill awhile and then accompany my wife on her maiden voyage to the golf course this year for our Club's weekly couples night.

Got up and out to the course bright and early this morning to practice before it got too hot. Still wound up sweating my ass off!! Watched the Women's British Open, and now waiting for my son and his family to drop by on their way to returning our grandson for his junior year in college just north of the border in Michigan.

Filed my weekly Unemployment claim. Picked up dog poop. Hosed down the kennel. Went to work.

Detailed the Highlander inside and out. After 4 weeks in 3 different states/stops, and some with grandkids in the car, it was a disaster. Took me all morning. We've had so much rain the HOA service hasn't cut the grass in over a week, so I went ahead and cut it. Napped, watching DJ try and go -30.

Traded a couple stocks this morning for a nice little profit, 2:10 tee time with buds, head out for dinner and drinks on the patio after at a local pub.

Talked to my son in Japan this morning, got an iced coffee, picked up dog poop, cleaned the rat cage, pulled some spurge weeds.

300 Mile round trip, great day for a drive.

18 holes with my 10 year-old grandson. Kid is going to be good if he sticks with it. He handles bad shots like they never happened.

The person I drive for, the owner of the car lot, usually does not tell me what he paid.
The unit was a repossession deal and had a number of broken windows and other
damage to the interior. I was not interested, so did ask what he paid, but I will if you
would really like to know, you kind of have me curious now.
