Always loved the holiday. Even when I was single and couldn't afford to go visit family I would roast up a turkey and bake some sweet potato pies. Then I would either go fishing or golfing on black Friday. Things have changed with the family and I no longer get to do what I want on black Friday (still not going shopping though), but I still enjoy the cooking, the reflection, and the general time of the year before the winter doldrums.
