Today we are hoping to survive the biblical floods in SoCal. The local news is predicting 36 hours of drizzle, even a wave or two of light rain. Perhaps even a whole inch of rain. Fortunately, we were ready. Started boarding up windows last week. Bought a months worth of drinking water and canned Spaghetti-Os.
Out here, this is called a "hundred-year" storm, and we usually get three of them each year.
Have not heard the politicians yet blaming the other party for the storm limiting voter turnout, but it is still early.
