Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

I have a meeting in KC so I thought I'd visit Costco. I rejoined in May to access their audiologist and on a couple of previous visits my wife did the shopping for her stuff. Today, no wife accompanying me so I'm going to check the little corner of the store that will make ME happy - golf.

Mine is still sitting in the box. I got a new Stroke Lab putter the week before the KS1 came out, but I still had to buy one. The Stroke Lab is great, so the KS1 is just sitting there waiting.

I bought a set of Ping Eye 2 irons heads about two years ago with the intent to ream them out and reshaft. Well, I finally got them finished today with some FST 115 shafts and will put them in play tomorrow. 👍️

Played 18 with my usual Tuesday traveling group. Nothing outstanding to report....scraped it around for
18 holes!

Satisfying round of golf. Made a 15' birdie putt on 18 to win the 'gang' bet of 3 foursomes. Sweet.

Eguller You know, I made 3 birdies today with that NC putter today. I took it out of the bag and had been using my other 2 for a few rounds. Just put it back in yesterday. Think I'll just keep it there. 😀

Snuck out to the range after my workout. Dog poop clean up and rat cage clean up. Always nice when other people at the range come up say,” holy crap you kill it”. I tell them it’s the shaft.

I played with a kid last week (probably 17 years old - I didn't ask, but he's a high school senior) that would hit his tee shot with a 2 iron to somewhere between 260 - 280 yards, and then when I would follow with a nice 230 drive with my G400 driver he say "boom" or "you killed that one". Nice kid! He only hit driver twice (once a little left into some trees which gave him his only bogey in the round, and once about 330 right down the middle on another par 5 that left him 150 out.

Played the quarter final of the club championship yesterday evening - lost on the 15th, but felt like I played pretty well against a very good player (a former champion who plays off scratch, and was +1 for the 15 holes). A couple of birdies off good approach shots in there - a little 8-iron to 6 feet at the first, and a hybrid out of light rough to 2 feet at the 14th to keep the match going a little longer.

sdandrea1 - I've signed my wife and me up for a few of these and I swore after the last one, never again! There was the one in Vegas where I said "let's get out of here" when the salesman excused himself for a minute and we went out the back door. Brutal.

Try running some Starbright Startron enzyme fuel cleaner through it first. This stuff is amazing. Available most everywhere.

Jave you ever tried putting “Seafoam” in the tank? That shit works great on carbs. Just add a decent amount with a little gas to run it through. I’ve used it, my buddy uses it on his equipment too. Gets great reviews.

I saw your post too late. Already took an hour to pull the carburetor and strip it apart to spray it down. Seems to be running smooth now - I'll find out later when the boy mows the lawn 🙂. I'll try your suggestion next time though (he says with a bad back sore from bending over the lawn mower and stooping to change tools).

Edit to add - as I replied to this post I vaguely remembered a bottle of blue stuff in the garage that I had been adding to my gas can, but have forgotten to the past several times I've filled the can up. What is the blue stuff? Why it's Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment of course!

Seriously, we were interested in getting out of the RCI system and into the Interval International system with Spinnaker. HHI is our favorite vacation spot and we wanted to switch to an every 3rd year maintenance fee vs annual. We can stay here every year at 6 different resorts and only pay cart fee at 4 different courses, plus trade in and travel world wide. We traded in our RCI resort 2-week timeshare and bought here.....and got breakfast, $100 in dinner certs and free golf tomorrow at Golden Bear.
