Took a half day today. Went and played 18 at a nice course that was a tail of two different 9's, old school tree lined front with super green complexes, perched and some slope; back was through a meadow, so more open as far as looks but tight, I think the back is more narrow then the front. Fun, also good greens on the back but less slope, a bit bigger, more sprawling with mini tiers. 131slope from 6450 yards. Not outrageous but tough. Hole #6 is fabulous, 400 yards leaning right, not a true dogleg, but it does lean hard right and requires a fade unless hitting less than driver. trees left, then a short patch of rough and then river past it, bunkers right also some trees if you push it. Super green guarded left and right with bunkers, narrow opening and the green has two tiers sloping back to front. Pin was back. I hit driver to left rough, 8i and shot the gap between the bunkers landing on the right fringe and it kicked left towards the hole and ended 15 feet. If I hit the putt it goes in. Picked up a pizza and headed to my favorite brewery for a few š».
