Well they’re cutting back hours in the pro shop and making the 2 pros work more instead of them being at the bar by noon.

I have today off. Went to the gym… still coughing and recovering 🙄. Wife and I will go somewhere… don’t know where yet but it’s nice out. Finishing up the pool can wait until Tuesday when I’m off again.

I am changing an effing fill valve on a toilet. It runs all of the time and drives my wife nuts so I got a new valve. Not too big of a job but it being in a corner makes access a chore for a old geezer with bad knees and a bad left arm. Fill line came off ok but the plastic nut on the valve stem was a beyotch to get loose. I ended up with a mirror on the floor and using some channel locks to finally get it loose. Install went quick. Working using a mirror is really weird. Anywho job done. I called it a lot of names but did not draw any blood. I love plumbing. 😡

$200 to replace a $10 valve. No. I'll fight with it a little first. Next time I will have a wrench to fit the sumbich. 😜 Plus the plumber I use when I can't do something has stiches in his hand and is out of biz for a bit. I did use him last fall to replace a water heater.
