At the beach in Ocean City, Md. Here for the classic car cruise in. Over 3300 cars last year . Seen a few (lol) that I would like to own. Guess that most of the owners have large government pensions. Some were purchased a Mecum or Barrett Jackson auctions. Oh well.

Today, worked all day, came home and started getting the hoses situated for watering the backyard. Had it strip seeded today.

Yesterday flew to North Carolina for a work conference starting Sunday night.

Had a great time this weekend with @Sparky before his conference. We played Pinehurst #1 and #4 and he was super steady and played his fade (late in the day Sunday, slice) all day, both days and had very respectable rounds. I didn't bring my A game either day but pulled a back-9 score of 43 on #4 yesterday (great for a 21 handicapper).

Sunny and a high of 70 predicted for today. I'll be in a stadium watching high school band competition much of the day and driving a significant bit of the rest. Should be a beautiful day to be outside and soaking up the sun.

I had my share of driving yesterday. From Cincinnati to Dayton to meet up with a guy. Then from Dayton to Indianapolis air port. 20 miles outside of Indy the highway was shut down. It took 2 hours to go 7 miles. Left Dayton at 8 and got to the Indy airport job by 1pm. Made the repairs and headed back from Indy to Cincinnati. Made it home by 5:30

colej That sounds like a frustrating day. I was in Indy a few months ago and construction in the northeast corridor along I-465 was wrecking traffic. Usually, in my limited experience, it is one of the most pleasant cities to navigate traffic wise.

Downtown Indy (65 & 70) is an absolute nightmare. Then rush hour traffic spreads out to 465, crowding those roads.

Building 2 houses on 2 separate lots. One will be the wife and I the other will be my daughter and her family.

Ours will be a ranch and hers a 2 story with the master bedroom on the first floor.

Attending a college football game at the old Alma Mater today......Buffalo at Bowling Green! Not exactly the
"big time," but looking forward to it, b/c we haven't been to a game at BG in a while. They have sucked for a few years and hired a new coach to rebuild the program. Some friends of ours couldn't use their tickets this week, so gave them to us. Looks like it's gonna be a beautiful fall day.....sunny and high in the 50's......

It's here in VA. I live in a Del Web 55+ community. Band is comprised of resident retired rockers. We play a gig for our community once a month at our Lodge, May - Oct. BYO food, drink, dance the night away (from 7 to 9 🤣). No charge, good times.

Another proud Pop moment. Payton got her official acceptance letter to Hiram, yesterday and in that letter was a nice surprise....

"Upon review of your academic credentials, we are pleased to award you with the Deans Scholarship with an annual award amount of $8,000. This scholarship is renewable for 4 years and dependent on your consecutive, full-time enrollment."

This kid will never fully understand how proud I am, of her.

As a young Women I think that she understands exactly how much she has accomplished with your love , support, and devotion.
Continue that ... which knowing you will happen without question.
Always keep your love # 1. Without that, nothing else matters. You are a lucky man my son. 👍
