LB - I looked at the portfolio of courses across the country and I've had the privilege to play a few of them, primarily the public access courses in the DFW area. I don't know when your company bought them but I noticed in the last couple of years there was a drop off in course conditions from the days of yore. I kind of mentally gave the courses a pass because the greens were still really nice and North Texas has had a few years now of pretty severe drought conditions.
Good luck and congratulations with the new position and bump in the pay scale. You'll do great and probably be teaching your inherited staff the meaning of work.
