Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Bravopilot Love watching shows about flying VFR in Alaska, nice looking yet very dangerous.

I don't know if we can get to the new Lodge while we're here. Weather is socked in low cloudy rain. Travel all this way and not see the daughter would suck.

Whooped!

3 hour drive to my parents.

Mowed/trimmed 1 acre yard. Replaced water heater (2 trips to hardware store) and replaced light fixtures in shed #1.

3 hour drive home.

Then a sealed/caulked expansion joints on patio. Not done yet.

Just took a shower and having a cold one...

I'm wrung out...

What did you use to seal those joints with? I’ve been using Sika flex for years and a guy turned me on to this

But I'll check into your recommendation. Not sure if it's available locally.

My supplier is having issues getting their (sika) product along with raising surcharges by 30%

Cleaning the daughter's dry cabins outside of town. Still have folks coming through to hunt, hike and fish. Cut the grass at her place. Reorganized the tool shed, got the weed eater up and running. Grandkids getting off the bus soon.

garyt1957 this was a gift last Christmas, 3 one hour lessons. I have no idea what the total cost was. I think that I will have to ask, as I would like to be able to get a few more lessons for next year. I just like to get instruction and then go spend time working on perfecting those instructions, or getting as close as I can...

I like that they are on course lessons. To me that’s the best place for a (not brand new) golfer to learn. If you’re pounding balls on the range, in front of him, you will make adjustments to your swing to make the ball go where you are wanting. On the course you don’t have that driving range repetition.

colej the 1st lesson he had me working on my swing on the range. He didn't do much to my swing, he did have me make it steeper/ more upright. I have spent the last few months working on that. He also has me doing more of a stack and tilt.
Yesterday, I hit a few balls poorly, he tossed another one in front of me and told me where I messed up, how to execute the shot (if it looked like I was a little lost) and tell me to hit it again. Most of the time with good results.

Flying out from Talkeetna AK to Stephan Lodge (our daughter's recentl purchase). 20 minute flight by puddle jumper VFR only. Hope these guys know their way because the weather is socked in low rainy clouds. Gotta deliver supplies and the granddaughters for the weekend. I'll post some pics if there's a break in the weather. I know! That's PER PERSON! High rollers. Their clientele this week are flying in on their own jet. We're so proud of her. She and her husband quit school at University of Montana 21 years ago and moved here with NOTHING. They lived in a wall tent for a year. Since then they've built 3 businesses, finished college, she got her real estate license and they own a lot of property locally. Hard working kids.

Well, we loaded up the granddaughters and the Lodge supplies and the pilot turned around 5 miles out. Ceiling dropped too low. We're back at the house waiting for the call. It takes 2 trips to get the 4 of us there, so we may not get there today. If it clears a bit, we're only 3 minutes from the airport. He's camped there, watching the hourly fcst.
