Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Switched out the driver's side rear tail light assembly on a 2004 Prius.

In their infinite wisdom Toyota used integrated LED's for the brake lights while leaving standard bulbs for the turn signal and tail light, so if the brake lights go out, you have to change the whole thing.

Switched out the passenger side 3-4 years ago, I guess it was time for the driver's side.

Got a used OEM from a salvage shop. 5 out of the 6 LEDs light up bright and one faint (matches the passenger side FWIW). It'll do.

Trying to watch some golf. But this, keeps interrupting, with the local weather cutting in with all the warnings, then they feel the need to yap continuously about the same thing for 20 minutes; showing the same radar.
We have had heavy rain, strong wind, hail, and tornadoes, with more coming along later.
Nice quiet Sat. in NW IL. 😉

I had another Geezer day at Krogers. I did my shopping and the crowd was light for a Saturday but so was the Kroger staff which is usual. I did my shopping and had too much for Uscan so I got into one of the two checkout lanes that had about 4 carts in line. There is a geezer older than me in front of me with his mini cart and he dodders up to the checkout. I put my stuff up on the belt as he is checking out. There are now several carts in back of me. As he walks off I get this horrendous odor. This old fart shit his pants and leaves. I start fanning the air with my hands and the clerks on both sides give me a deer in the headlight look. So does the lady in line in back of me. All I can do is try to gesture that "It ain't me babe." I am not sure that they bought it. Falsely accused I left in shame. Damn.

Spent a couple of hours sitting at Progressive Field in Cleveland with my son, waiting for the baseball game (Guardians vs. White Sox) to start. Hard rain overnight and this morning evidently left the outfield too wet
to play!! We sat there a couple of hours, had a hotdog and a beer together, and finally decided to give up
and drive home. Glad we left early, b/c by the time I got back home, an hour and a half later, they officially
called off the game.....🤬

As of 1600 today, I began drinking my colonoscopy prep liquid "ez go" AKA, Rocket Fuel. Can't wait until it kicks in. Camera up the wazoo tomorrow.

Digging up sod then cutting out some BIG ass roots in the front lawn that had broken off 3 sprinkler risers.
It's funny, the last couple of days, every time I started digging in the yard, it'd pour down rain/hail 5 mins. later.
We DO need the rain, but NOT when I'm in the middle of an F'd up PITA job!
