scotts33 I figured that you, ode, and a couple others probably knew what happened to me. We got hammered major with that damn derecho, 83 mph winds for about an hour, Mon. afternoon. Just got power back at 8 tonight. Fricking QC area is a mess; worse than a few years ago with the straight line winds that hit us, esp. my neighborhood. Power was out over 4 days then. This time, as then, our area was the last damn place to get power restored; figuring because Cheri Bustos lives a few blocks over, she must have pissed someone off badly. Golf courses all had hell beat outta them too, with a lot of trees down; most are open now as they were unplayable and had plenty of time for cleanup.
Ok, on subject. Yes, I bought the Trans Rover set up. This was back when no carts were allowed. By the time I got it, they had opened up for carts. I was going to go ahead and use it, but it started getting hot/humid around that time, and I'm not much for walking in normal weather. It was going to cost well over $100 to return it....shipping + a restocking fee. (I would never buy from this company again, BTW). So, it has sat in my basement, totally unused. It is lighter than a cart/bag combo, and it has some great features....the clubs cannot bang around/against each other is the top one, imo. They lock securely in place. Has it's own cooler, even has a carry strap for loading/unloading. For a walker, I think it's great. If anyone is interested, I think a good deal could be worked out here. 😁
