I hate large numbers of Canada geese on the course. But I hit a "line drive" 3-wood one day and hit a goose only about 20 yards out. The impact obviously broke either its leg or wing (or both) and it slowly dragged, limped its way into the water. The sound was sickening. I felt REALLY bad (and, no, not because my ball was heading toward the pin).
