Anything you found, spot, during your round of golf.
Golf balls with personal inscriptions on it ?
A sighting of wild life ?
A babe ? Yes that too, if you have a photo of the Babe.

I'll star one with the find today .

Didn't take a picture, but we have Golf Board on the local daily fee golf course now.
Talked to the golf director, and they have 4 units to test the market. Not cheap, same fee as riding a golf cart which is $28 for regular fee and $12 for senior for a round of 18.
Watched it being tested up and down around the practice greens. It does not do well for tight turning, same as a skate board would.
The 4-some behind our group took 3 out of the 4 available , so I guess it'll be a more permanent feature soon.

Many moons ago I was playing with Professor at a nearby club (I think it was him anyway!) and we both hit our tee shots to an elevated green of a par3. We get up there and to both our amusement and amazement lied a pair of women's panties on the green.

He picked them up, gave them a good sniff, asked if I wanted to try - I said no thanks.

I saw the skid marks, he apparently didn't.

Seriously, that was a first. A couple obviously had a notion for a little more than twilight golf on their minds the evening prior and decided to leave a souvenir. I think Prof took them home and had them framed over his fireplace mantle.

Saw an American Eage swoop down from the sky, pull a large bass out of the water and proceed to land on a mogul about 100' feet away and eat it.

One other time we saw two hawks chase down a squirrel from tree to tree.
It was amazing to watch this hunting behavior.

One of our local Municipal golf course ( West Seattle) used to have a red fox family there . Many times we could see one or multiple members from this fox family going in and out of the woods, a few times I saw a lone fox sitting at the edge of the woods off the 10th fairway lurking at the crows and the squirrels not far away it. It was so close I could toss a golf ball to it. A nice picture framed the red fox sitting there showered with the setting Sun on it's beautiful coat.

The logo of the golf course is a head of the fox. But the fox family had long been gone. Rumor had it some years ago coyote moved in , either chased the fox out of the area or worse, had them for dinner.

It was the 1st round I played with my now best friend and #1 golf buddy. We were on a muni course named Ken McDonald in Tempe, AZ. I think it was hole 8 and in the middle of the fairway I looked down and saw something white about the size of a cigarette in the ground. I picked it up and sure enough it was a "one hitter" pipe for smoking pot. I didn't need it at the time so I asked my buddy if he wanted it. I think he didn't throw it away. It was the 1st time we had hung out outside of work and to this day a little part of him thinks that I brought that thing with me to see if he was a pot smoker.

Was playing a charity scramble this summer and saw a hawk go after a squirrel. Mr. Hawk missed the squirrel and crashed into the bushes. Scared the $h!t out of all of us!

I had just joined my country club and my wife and I were playing an early morning round. On #12 we found a used condom on the green and I mentioned it to the asst. pro when we finished. His face got as red as his red hair. He never denied that his date helped him the night before lock-up the shop and he 'got off'.

I've found a nice watch and some ray bans before in carts. Always turned them in to the pro shop

ever since our State pass the law allowing the recreational use for Marijuana, once in awhile I could smell a whiff of the "burning grass". I don't see any different than golfers consuming alcohol on the golf course as long as they don't slow down their pace.
However, the lasting effect of THC is quite different than alcohol, since some of it will attach to body fat and last quite a bit longer. I hope they will have a good sense for safety when they get on the road after the round.

I did find something similar to your story one day. Walking down from the club house, something on the side of the road caught my eyes. Hidden in the grass just off the paved surface was this plastic tube like the kind will hold a single cigarette. I picked it up and init was something looked like the left over of half a joint. I open the cap and unmistakably it was weed. It must slipped out someone's pocket or golf bag.

I just saw a guy in the driving range whose wife is on medicinal Marijuana, so I turned around found the guy and gave it to him.

I haven't touche that stuff since college days. Right now I don't even drink regularly, maybe once in a blue moon a glass of wine or a bottle of microbrew. It's easy when my wife does not drink.

          Good for you. 👍
Golfers don;t even return a golf club found these days.

I find the bottom of the cup..........................eventually.........

Actually, my best story is what I lost on the course. I used to walk all my rounds and carry my clubs. One day I lost my cell phone (unbeknownst to me) from an un-zippered bag pocket. It was lost in deep rough in a pretty obscure spot. The reason I know this is that SWMBO was playing the same course with girlfriends later that same day and found my phone by chance when she hit her drive to nearly the same spot. She nearly stepped on it. Talk about luck...................

Don't even want to mention my lack of concentration about cleaning out my cart during desert storm, but I must.

At Papago on Wednesday prior to the start of DS, I left my 36 oz. Yeti Tumbler Thermos in the cart basket, along with the headcover to my TM Ghost Spider putter. My bad, my forgetfulness. Even tried contacting the course for the next 36 hours to no avail. Not their fault ... just mine.

              False teeth. Just the uppers.

Along the Pot line of comments, I was playing a while back and saw something shiny on the tee box. Pick it up and it is a small deep well socket. First thought was, "Why would someone have a socket set out here?" But when I looked in it it was obviously someones pipe. Tossed it back on the ground and played on.

Lots of deer, roadrunners, and have seen a few bald eagles as well but non actively hunting.

Playing at a well known resort in FL. One hole ran alongside a street with buildings on it. Got approached by two young ladies doing "tricks" in a small camper in a parking lot behind one of the buildings. They said quickee now or come on= back after the round.
