Rickochet What a wonderful story. Maybe send them a gift card for a dinner somewhere? BTW, what is a RCMP? Also, get a wallet. 😀 Also, just curious but did they tell you where they found your stash?
sdandrea1 I thought about you today. I had to go to the bank and cash a check from the guy who bought our old house. He bought some of our furniture and wrote a personal check. I don't know the guy so I went right to his bank to cash it. Consequently, I had $2K in cash in an envelope. All I thought about was this story. Got home and still have it!
accufitgolf Might as well add a story. Stopped at the local market to buy some Boiled Peanuts. I had about $200 in my money clip which I carry in my right front pocket. When I got home, no money in my pocket. I figured out what happened. I was wearing a Columbia fishing shirt with long tails and made from a slippery material. I obviously put the money in my pocket but I must have trapped some of the shirt tail in my pocket and just walking around caused the shirt to pull out of my pocket and the money came with it. I even tested it and it repeated. I was more upset about losing the money clip as it was a gift in Member Guest Tournament which we won.......LOL
Rickochet I said earlier that I had never lost a wallet. Well, I did for a brief time. I had to go to CA for a funeral. I met my son in Dallas and we boarded the same plane. Most of the shorts I wear have no back pocket so I put my wallet in the right front pocket. We boarded the plane to CA. As I was getting settled into my window seat my hand brushed my right front pocket and it was empty. I checked both pockets and keys were in my left pocket and nothing else. I panic. In the middle of the country with no ID or money. Great. We tear the plane apart thinking I might have dropped it. Luckily my hand brushed my ass and I felt something in the rear pocket. I had forgotten I had put on a dressier pair of shorts that had a back pocket and the wallet was there. Whew!
sdandrea1 Orlimar1 We sold our house in Florida and bought a slightly larger/newer one in the same community. Don't let anyone tell you that moving 2 miles is any easier than 2000 miles.
