In all seriousness, congrats to the Vikes....they have a great defense and if Bradford stays healthy, they have a really good chance to win the division....A Rodg was off tonight, in most part due to the Vikes pressure, but he missed quite a few easy throws....I think the North will be an interesting race again this year.

Bradford has always had a good arm as he demonstrated last night. An inability to stay healthy in St. Louis and a poor fit in Philly has colored opinion of him. He was surprisingly effective given his limited preparation time and lack of running game last night. Also looked like a jailbreak at times as GB got to him multiple times. For a guy with an injury history like his that's not a good thing.

Rodgers' last 100+ QB-rating performance came against the Chargers in October of 2015. Since then his QB rating has averaged 82 and the Pack have gone 5-7.

There could be any number of reasons why his performance has dropped, but the bottom line is when you put Aaron Rodgers against a good defense - he's just slightly better than average. He can get streaky, he can win games, he can make big throws. But for whatever reason - he just doesn't do it very often against the better teams.

I'm an Aaron Rodgers fan, but those stats just don't lie.

Do remember, his go to guy Jordie Nelson was out all of last year too. The analysis of football is a strange 'science'. We tend to look at individual stats (not that fantasy football has helped) but, it's a team game. Runningbacks need offensive lines - but, they are also assisted by a strong passing threat AND receivers who are good downfield blockers. Similarly, QB's benefit from strong running games, good o-lines, and good receivers.

Best, most reliable and accurate stat isn't a number. It's a letter, either W or L.

I think I noted that there could be numerous reasons behind his lackluster performance. But the Packers were very much in the game Sunday night with 2 minutes left, and with great pass protection no less - throws a strike right into the awaiting hands of a defender. It was a horrible mistake... it wasn't a hail-mary, one of those throws where a guy is trying to win a game. It was a straightforward 10-15 yard throw... game over. He fumbled the ball 3 times as well and was extremely fortunate that Minnesota was oblivious as they happened.

And your best reliable stat is 5-7 since last October. Yeah, I'd still take Aaron Rodgers. But I'm not seeing him playing like an elite QB nearly as often as he used to. That was my original point.

Nelson looks slow, flat, like he has much less of a burst. I don't know this for fact, but their down field/big plays seem to be down.....much easier to d up against them IMO. I like there top 3 guys at receiver...but woukd like to see these guys play with a little more sense of urgency.

I want sunday to be here....now, hate waiting a week after a loss!
