Not a business, just do it as a hobby and courtesy for leftover customers and friends when it was more of a business in the component heydays. I'd rather not even do grips but by offering it up and cheaply, it brings in bigger jobs.
I did double my price from $1 lol
A set of 8 clubs takes 30 mins max to re and re so $16 ain't terrible
The local big box Golf Store which pretty much has a monopoly in the country charges $3 so I choose to go lower on all the club building and repair services.
I will often use the air compressor so there is no solvent or tape cost. That said will probably up my rate to $2.50
funny as I also have a small property maintenance service that I do for again friends, neighbours. Seems I charge about 1/3 the hourly rate that others do.
