My 15 year old grandson is a tennis player, and evidently a pretty good one. His dad (my oldest son) says he's
now expressing an interest in golf b/c his group of friends are talking about taking it up, playing for fun, etc. So,
today I went down to the basement, scrounged around through my "inventory", and found a set of old Ben Hogan
Apex heads that I used back in the day. Further searching turned up some regular flex shafts that, at my age,
I can't use anymore. A couple of hours later, the kid has a set of irons and an old beat-up Bullseye putter to
learn on. Cost me nothing but my time!
