The Blast/No Doubt is shocking, how good it feels. I bought some NOS heads a bit ago and just now putting one together. The Rife, I had to find a hosel adapter for as well. Luckily, they still had some in stock on their website.

Rickochet Do those grips have a sort of burnt or harsh rubber smell? I have 8 of them that I think I bought on eBay, and they smell funny. So I’m wondering if I got fakes. They feel fine on the clubs so far. I have a known good one on my driver and it doesn’t have that smell. But it’s older.

DonM You might have fakes. One of my friends got a set of GP grips and they smelled funny. He put them on the clubs and the color was coming off on his hands. Bad thing was it was an authorized GP vendor. He called GP and they sent grips from them, not the vendor which were perfect.

I just bought these a few weeks ago. The grips smell just like the ones I bought last spring. Did yours come in a loose bundle or where they individually packaged in plastic? I did not get mine on ebay.

Interesting....I bought a bunch of Chamois oversized last year, and the same thing happened to me with the color.
Don't remember where I got them though. I cut them off and threw them away at the end of the season.

Rickochet I can't recall how they were packaged. I'll have to look at my eBay history and see who was the seller.

Edit: I bought them from Value Golf on eBay. So they should not be fake.

Grips on eBay are notorious for being fakes. Sure signs are smell and color fading/bleeding.

Bought some Sidewinder grips years ago, off someone on FGI. Stunk so bad I had to take them outside. Finally threw them away. Never bought another of those, and never will.

Absolutely. Send Aaron an email from the contact link on their website. He usually responds quickly. I checked a few weeks ago and they were out of the LT Jumbos and had an order expected soon so you might have some from a fresh batch. BTW, if you order from their website you can get a 10% discount as a forum member.

In a long standing tradition of FGI/GBuzz, I am refurbishing an original Cobra Baffler (OEM) component head.

It is now in stripped down form for testing to see if I want to give it the full 'treatment'. I'll hit it tomorrow.
I believe that it is an 18/19 head but not marked as such. I've liked older Cobras and this one looks 'right'. 🏌
