Rickochet fatshot Any idea what the lofts are on the 11,13, and 15? They look like they'd be SUPER easy to hit.... Rickochet azgreg You would need two golf bags to carry that many woods. Not if you only carried a few short irons. 😜 A bag for me might be Driver 15°, 20° Heavy Sole Rescue, 5w, 9w, 11w, 15w, 7 - Pw, GW, SW, Putter = 14 clubs.
Mattyv Here are my last couple of builds. Built the CER irons for my buddy who had his clubs stolen. Shafted with some DG R300 pulls I had laying around. Golf Pride MMC Midsize grips that someone gave me. I also through into his set a couple of Ping G15 hybrid clones and regripped his old driver. He is getting all this for $130. I think that is a pretty good deal. Next up are a set of wedges I did for my buddy who is now blind in his left eye. Maltby M-Series 56° and 60°. Also did an Inazone Hyedge 49° chipper for him. Hopefully they work well for h8m.
Typhoon You’ll love that M series. Don’t open it up, just play it square and the ball comes out of sand and whatever else nice with tons of spin.
Typhoon I weighed my Nike pro combo and Ping ie-1 irons and checked swing weights. It’s funny to look at the increments from one club to the next and also the difference between the 2 brands with the modus 105 shafts and the DGpro s300 shafts. The clubs range from 15 to 25 gram difference from say one 7 or 8 iron to the next brand. No wonder there is a big difference in how I hit them.
Eguller Typhoon Looks like those PINGs are good candidates for some lead tape or tip weights should the lead tape pan out.
HybridWood Typhoon Not to be critical here, but based on the numbers you have it appears that the scale used looks to be only to the nearest 5 grams. What may happen for example is that an actual 408 g weight may actually read as 410 grams (rounds up) but so will 412 grams (rounds down). Not knowing how the scale functions I'm not exactly sure (perhaps it rounds up regardless?). I guess if you are using it for general guidance it is probably OK.
Par4QC HybridWood Yeah, I have 2 scales. 1 is accurate, but not with anything coming up at 239.7, it will show 240. The other will only go by 5 gr. increments. You now know why I have 2, and which one I bought 1st. 😉
Typhoon It’s a old Golfsmith one that’s in increments of 5... not the fancy digital ones. Close enough for what I do. Like I added some tape and reweighed... arely moved from say 400 so I call it a ""c-h"" over 400. i added 2 2" strips to the 5 iron and U wedge as well like I did with the 7 iron. I then taped another one on the 7 iron so I can compare the numbers from hitting it the other day with 2 strips.
Rickochet I am pulling some Ping Eye 2+ heads. Whoever invented the glue Ping uses is a cruel sumbitch. 🤬
Mattyv Rickochet They really jam the shafts into those heads. I don't think it is only the epoxy they use. They showed the assembly process at Ping on an episode of How It's Made a few years back. I also got to see it in person when I went on a factory tour.

Maybe after heating it to what I think should do it I need to whack the head with one of those wooden mallets like the Ping techs use to set the lies. I might use some spicy language as well. Duh, I always use spicy language when I work on shit. 😜
