Par4QC Eguller Depending on the grade of stainless the heads are made from, maybe you could use something from here...... https://www.kjmagnetics.com/categories.asp?cat=9
LBlack14 sdandrea1 shouldn't you have finished cutting the shafts before doing the plugs? I know there's all kinda different ways to skin a cat and I can't remember how I did the couple bore through clubs I've done.
sdandrea1 LBlack14 Maybe. This is my 2nd attempt and I have no mentor. This method worked last time. I'll find out today. If there's any voids, I'll fill them with epoxy.
LBlack14 sdandrea1 I'll find out today. If there's any voids, I'll fill them with epoxy Gotcha. That's what I thought about. They'll be just fine.
sdandrea1 LBlack14 I think someone here (accufit maybe) mentioned your suggestion now that I think about it, but my last effort came out ok. This time I have a nice scotchbrite buffing wheel. Hoping for a better result.
sdandrea1 Better than last time, but I'm still not happy. I need to fill that with black epoxy and polish it again, maybe.
Eguller sdandrea1 I need to fill that with black epoxy and polish it again, maybe. Might just work. Difficult job for sure. Turn the ferrule cap with Acetone ? Good luck.
Weirfan sdandrea1 looks good Stevo.....a little fine finishing with acetone will make it look like a professional did it
