Tried the Tensei orange shaft that I bought from Monark. I’ll fully confess that today was not my best ball striking day. My first time playing a round since my surgery. So probably looking at almost 3 months.
I don’t feel any kind of higher balance point but I doubt I’m that sensitive to that sort of thing. Shaft feels fairly stout but doesn’t launch low. I would call it a mid launch shaft with not much feel to it.
I hit a couple really nice fairway shots with my 5 wood today. I reshafted it with a Paderson ballistic FW shaft. It has a noticeable little kick to it just like my Paderson velocity driver shaft.
I reshafted my irons to the Xcaliber RT95 and hit some really nice shots with my short irons. Tried a couple mid irons (not my best ball striking day). Reshafted my wedges with the Xcaliber spin 100 shafts. I didn’t hit very many full shots with them but man these things really are nice on partial shots you can be very aggressive and go right at the hole. The ball will stop even on partial shots.
