Went on a mini trip playing Tuscumbia and White Lake on Thursday and Devils Head - Glacier in Friday. The Dynacraft Prophet MB will stay the bag the remainder of the season!
I think I do slightly better with a moderate to moderate/thin sole vs. the bigger clunkier sole. Overall cleaner contact, slightly less tendency to hit fat, and I have got into a groove with these irons. And I also like the slightly better workability. Although this is not something that I often do but it is easier to hit a little cut or draw if needed. What I miss is the ability hit a sky high shot with the Acer XV HT. Those def do have a HT when flushed.
True test for me is after several rounds and then taking them on the road and playing courses that I'm not as familiar with. Feel confident with these and played well. I had 148 into a 10mph wind on the last hole over water that guards the left and the entire front of the hole. Miss left = penalty, miss right and impossible up and down with pin right and green sloping away. Below my feel light, nothing extreme. Aimed left side and flushed a 6i right at the pin. Sligh fade landed oin high and released to pin high fringe / 8 footer. Didn't make it but par on that hole is gaining one in the fieldπ
