raggmann54 Question..Thinking about building a set of irons, 6-7-8-9, but instead of tip trimming for each head I just butt trim to length…Using senior flex FGS plus or FGS Lite shaft…How will that affect each club???
sdandrea1 raggmann54 I'd do soft stepping instead of no trimming. Unless your heads are all the same weight, those untrimmed shafts won't act right. Maybe try trimming the 6 iron to 4 iron specs, the 7 iron to 5 iron spec, etc ?
ode raggmann54 they will play soft to flex...if the shaft untipped is meant for a 3i it will be soft stepped x3 for the 6i and so on....ranging from very soft to uber soft. You will also run out of parallel butt and will need to build up the grips at some point to compensate.
raggmann54 bad9 Don’t know…Just a thought. Would it produce more distance, higher flight, tighter dispersion???
CallMeAl Wanted to gain SW on the GBB. Took off the 57gm grip and installed a 30gm grip. MUUUCH Better now
ode Going to the way back machine with+ 1a- Enzo Tour Zone 6 - R flex, curing in a Ping adapter 1b- Catalyst iFit 65.3 R flex, curing in a PXG adapter Let's go🙃
CallMeAl Working on this... I don't think I can tumble it in my tumbler, too big. So should I glass bead the finish or leave it? 🤔 Then should I shaft it or let it go as is? 6.5* is a bit for most to hit....
sdandrea1 Integra Soooo Long 45 degree (19) fairway wood. I'm almost down to zero irons in the bag. Might just carry the Eye 2+ W & SW.
fatshot sdandrea1 sdandrea1 Integra Soooo Long 45 degree (19) fairway wood Pictures of that bad boy?????????
raggmann54 sdandrea1 degree (19) fairway wood. I'm almost down to zero irons That’s where I am now…Only irons in bag are 3 wedges…Rest are woods and/or hybrids. Ground is so hard that hitting irons hurts wrists and hands too much - with arthritis, tendinitis and torn ligaments I’ve had to learn to “scoop” the ball…
ode sdandrea1 Integra Soooo Long 45 degree (19) fairway wood Was thinking that's was some kind of typo .... Meaning Integra Solong 45 shaft on 19 degree fairway wood 🙃 ... Looks like you really do have a 45 degree wood✅⛳
