I chipped 3 times today from 50-60 feet by using a putting stroke with the 6h. I only converted one of them but the other two were acceptable, considering I had no experience. Being shorter and heavier made it better for chipping.

    DonM A hybrid should be the right choice for me. But I’ve been using long, light ones and I get fairly big misses left and right. Especially left

    Shaft is too light with too much flex. Though the UST iRN shaft is a stiffer shaft profile.

    Since I use steel in frwy woods Louisville Golf #9 27 deg. and #11 30 deg. I don't get the ultra high trajectory. It's more highish with penetration with steel TT Dynalite .335 this is missing from lots of senior graphite choices.

    DonM they have a lot of onset because of the higher lofts.

    I think it's more from a Hireko design of having higher lofted short irons and wedges that you can't shank. JMO Don.

    This is the way I play a lot. I call it Ray Floyd chipping or some guys call it toe down chipping.

    Like Brian Sparks demonstrates here.

    Last night's project....received and built these wedges....forged, slightly oversized, nice grooves with light milled surface swirls. The only negative was these are actually .355 hosels so I had to ream these to .370 which is a slight pita when you didn't expect that. Currently sporting regular Apollo Humps.

      Quick morning project before beginning yard work…

      To make it a threesome with the 54 & 58 already in the bag…

      @LogicalOne L1.XCW 50* gap with @LogicalOne 85S graphite…fully tipped 3.5” and cut to 35.75 playing length…

      Installing a Cally adapter on a Penley Tour Light.
      That 455DB thread got me all nostalgic this a.m.. I have 1 of those heads, & a few other SMTs, but going with the Callys I have to play.

        Good choice, 'cause that Cally adapter ain't gonna go in that DB hosel. 🤣

          So the Nike thing makes me laugh. I’m going to take the like new Golf Pride Tour wraps off my Nike Vapor Pro irons because they have the Nike swoosh and I can get well over $100 for them. Why wear them out right?
