I'll start. Vertex AW on SK Fiber TT75R shaft. Cleveland Launcher HB 5W on UST 55 Gold R shaft.

Gonna spend half the afternoon getting a piece of glue out of the shaft. I’ve never had this happen ...HOF curse, and I refuse to take off the grip I just put on.

Got it out, not that bad. Guess I’ll swing my Superspeed clubs and them stare at the walls the rest of the day.

Nice looking! I tried the XV pro last fall, but wound up buying the XV HT, which is much friendlier for my
70+ year old swing. Hope you like them.....

Put a new top on my old workbench after moving it to the new place. Did I mention that moving sucks?

sdandrea1 I sketched and made the materials list for building my bench. We got a 20 percent off coupon at Home Depot so I’m trying to get it right, haha. Want to get the thing built before my Vertex components arrive from California.

colej I think the PTM has gotten lost in the excitement about the TS heads. It looks like a great design.

for me I feel like it’s almost a better version of the TE. I know a lot of people love the TE but I never really cared for that design.

colej Yes, exactly, a more versatile TE. I'm sure it's the update.

TE flight was too high for me or rather they spin too much and the sole was too sharp/dig some for sure. OTM had a way better sole design, as do the ts1 and 2.

exactly right. Then PTM has a leading edge that is beveled which will help with the digging.

colej and a bit more bounce.....ts1 and 2 has a rounded sole which works well enough!

Rebuilding a set of XR Pro irons. Found them used with Recoil 110 Stiff shafts for cheap. Took them apart, weighed everything, spined & FLO'd shafts, and MOI matching them. They are a hair shorter than I'd like, but should be ok. I got some inexpensive Champkey grips that are knockoffs of the GPP MCC Plus and they seem pretty decent. Could be a nice backup set for not much money.

I started using these for shaft extensions years ago. Not super cheap but these fit super snug if you get the color measuring gauge. I get them from this guy. He also sells them on ebay.

He is in Louisville and I usually get stuff the next day. I also ordered a set of Recoil shafts from him last summer.

Just installed an Acer 12* driver head on a Graftech 55 gram senior flex shaft. Next, I have to decide whether to
leave it LOOONNNG (it's almost 48 right now without a grip), or cut it down to 44 or 45 and call it a "Thriver."
I've messed around with 47+ inch drivers before, but had settled on 46 inches for the last few years.
I've been thinking maybe it's time to go a little shorter for more solid contact and straighter flight.....

fatshot Yeah, the perennial longer driver - shorter driver quest. I'm about to start trying longer again. The course I'm playing is pretty wide off the tee, and I sure could use another 10-15 yards on several holes.

It's the older Acer XV. The catalog weight is 200 grams. I've been meaning to ask you, since we're both tall (I'm 6'6"), how long do you build your drivers....?
