I bought those in 2000 from Golftown on clearance, back when I could play decent. First and only set I ever bought off the rack.Got 50 bucks off as I did a "fitting" beforehand (which I mostly ignored). They came with Rifle stepless 6.0 and Winn Excel grips.

I rescued this air compressor from a neighbor’s curb today. It’s the week that we can put out bulky items. It needed two new outlet fittings, and the regulator was leaking badly. I only had to tighten up the big nut on the top. The twist knob was stripped, so I cut a screwdriver slot in the regulator stem. The unit works great now.

Too bad I won't get to try it out. My back's still seized up and the weather is about to change...😒

I haven't pulled a shaft in a while. I tried to pull one out of my DCT, yesterday and the fucker kept slipping in that rubber clamp thingy. I'm getting out my 123punt puller and getting this done.

Anybody wanna buy my other one??

CallMeAl It stands up like that and is harder for me to tighten, with the zipper in my chest and a decrepid right shoulder. If I would have put double sided grip tape on the shaft, last night, it would have. I just used the old one and it finally popped loose. I can lay that one on it's side. That Golfworks epoxy didn't want to give up the ghost. Mind you, It had nothing to do with the puller, the shaft was slipping in the rubber clamp.

CallMeAl It was cold in the garage last night and everything was stiff. I brought everything in the house this morning and let it sit for a few hours and those rubber things softened up and I put the double-sided grip tape on it and it popped loose. Got 'er done!

You can also clean the rubber with some acetone to help get rid of that slickness.

I am getting the urge to build a set of irons. Good thing I redirected that package of Uncle Steve's. 😉

I'll be using these ferrules, no matter what heads I choose.
