Eguller I really like the classic blade look of the TE+ Black at address, so I’m hoping it out performs that the TS1-IM. 😉. The TS3 is a great feeling winner of a head with a slightly thicker profile.

That's right where I am.....between the TE+ and the TS3. Sometime after we get back from Florida I need to get to Golfworks in Newark and hit one against the other.....

For our indoor golf pro I took the Radix out of his Exotics 4 wood which was beat. Took the Tensei Orange out of his Ping g425 3 wood. Put the radix in the Ping, left the other one apart.

d5n03 Giving up on the PTMs?

NO...!!! First, just always looking for something better.....

Second, I'm a sucker for Maltby stuff.....

Third, I've heard that some guys around here keep an extra set or two around, 'ya know....?? 😉

fatshot Got it. I tested the TS1, TS2, the TE and the PTM when I settled on the PTMs. I just got back from the practice range where I was testing my PTMs against my KE4 S set and feel that the PTMs need to stay in the bag for now. The PTMs have the Maltby Pro Series shafts & the KE4 S clubs have Xcaliber shafts - which may be some of the difference - the Xcaliber shafts are a softer profile. I’m thinking of reshafting the KE4 set. I also have a set of Maltby M-45 irons for backups. I’ll play the M-45s when I feel my swing is in good shape. Been playing Maltby/Golfworks clubs for almost 40 years.

ode Curious your thoughts on that shaft

I do remember liking it but I can’t remember why I pulled it…might have been selling the head it was mated with…it was well over 10 yrs ago so the specifics have escaped me. I will provide an update once I get this thing completed & then into the simulator for some testing to see the “numbers” 👍

sdandrea1 Still love Adams stuff. Nice classic there.

Remember liking this head when it was in play mucho moons ago…I am getting it up & running again so I can have a few retro days on the course this coming season…

The Adams 9088UL Draw model was/still one of my favorite drivers. The A2OS Hybrid iron set too. Barney had some great designs for the seniors and pros.

I bought those in 2000 from Golftown on clearance, back when I could play decent. First and only set I ever bought off the rack.Got 50 bucks off as I did a "fitting" beforehand (which I mostly ignored). They came with Rifle stepless 6.0 and Winn Excel grips.
