New 50* Wedge with a Matrix F15 shaft.
Went ahead with the build of the Takomo 101's.
Using the Tensei AV Silver shaft in R flex and some KNLY 360 grips to finish them.
Al, the Takomo 101 get great reviewsβ¦ Iβve never seen a bad one and that is a KILLER combo with the Tensei shafts
Put together a Maltby TS1-IM 7 iron with an XCaliber RT shaft to test on my trip South soon.
I'll compare it to the TE+ V4 Black with the same shaft. Should be interesting.
KCee Eguller I put together TS1-IM 6i with RT105 and it's a great combo. Haven't tried the new TE yet
I really like the classic blade look of the TE+ Black at address, so Iβm hoping it out performs that the TS1-IM. . The TS3 is a great feeling winner of a head with a slightly thicker profile. More later.

That's right where I am.....between the TE+ and the TS3. Sometime after we get back from Florida I need to get to Golfworks in Newark and hit one against the other.....
For our indoor golf pro I took the Radix out of his Exotics 4 wood which was beat. Took the Tensei Orange out of his Ping g425 3 wood. Put the radix in the Ping, left the other one apart.
fatshot Got it. I tested the TS1, TS2, the TE and the PTM when I settled on the PTMs. I just got back from the practice range where I was testing my PTMs against my KE4 S set and feel that the PTMs need to stay in the bag for now. The PTMs have the Maltby Pro Series shafts & the KE4 S clubs have Xcaliber shafts - which may be some of the difference - the Xcaliber shafts are a softer profile. Iβm thinking of reshafting the KE4 set. I also have a set of Maltby M-45 irons for backups. Iβll play the M-45s when I feel my swing is in good shape. Been playing Maltby/Golfworks clubs for almost 40 years.
