Typhoon sdandrea1 Is that my workbench? Looks just like it except for the Mizzy's and the Chicken Salad!😊
CallMeAl Jelopster Possibly. Have 2 sets. Both 5.5. One has the blackout finish the other is standard chrome finish. Taper Tip (.355) on both. 5-GW
CallMeAl Jelopster Talked to the owner of the clubs/shafts. He's asking $150 plus shipping on the blackouts. They have Lamkin ST Hybrid grips on them too. The Chrome are mine out of a set of PINGS. No grips. Make an offer...
Jelopster CallMeAl Got ya. If over-length I’d be interested in the chrome as I would want to hard step.
Jelopster CallMeAl No. I don’t need them per se. Like any good ho, I was thinking I could pick up a set of shafts to have on hand. I’ll keep trolling. Good luck moving them, I’m sure you’ll not have much trouble!
Jelopster colej Wouldn’t doubt it. I’m working on getting some of the violence out of my swing. From what I’ve heard of the RTs, they give a really good feel without ballooning or losing control. That’s exactly what I’m looking to achieve so I can gain consistency in my swing without giving up too much potential. When I reach this “swing nirvana” I’ll be ready to unload the TS2s with 120 g Nippons and throw some RTs in some vintage Pings!
Typhoon CallMeAl Compare the 2 for feel, sound, distance, playability if you can. I’m curious. The i500 I never hit outside but at my indoor place I was hitting one for a week and liked it all around. ( I hit it in a a big warehouse type of store years ago and the acoustics made it sound awful so I was glad to hit it at my place).
colej Installed this new heavyweight shaft in my putter. So far I’m really liking it just practicing on the carpet. Even though the specs list the shaft very heavy (compared to conventional steel) it feels very balanced. https://www.golfworks.com/maltby-pure-track-ss-putter-shaft/p/ma0335/
colej sdandrea1 It is very heavy but if you compare it to putting 50-100 grams of counter weight in the butt if the shaft, this feels much better IMO.
Jelopster Had some time to pull the head on my Sub 70 699 3u, prep some shafts, clean out some heads. I glued up my Ping wedges (LW from @Eguller) - remember these are my Halloween edition blacked out Cobra shafts, black and orange ferrules, and will get orange Tacki-Mac wrap grips. Also put the 699 3u on an Xcalibur RT from @colej, and my PXG 0811 XF from @brownmoose13 on a Paderson TS. The bag is almost ready for 2022!
colej Jelopster The ferrules look great especially the red one. @Spuzz would’ve preferred a nice blue!
