This guy ( don't recall anme) is the same that developed the PUREing system, for shafts. Also was patented. From what I can see, patents are only good 20 yrs., and it has been a lot of years since all that came down, so it may have run it's course. Cannot be renewed, as I understand it.
These pullers look nothing like the one that was diagramed for the patent. The only 1 I ever saw was in a pic of Arnold Palmer's shop, that someone had posted here on GB, a long time ago.
