Rickochet Steve, I have a question for you since you have played the iDrive hybrids and have also done some minimalist bag stuff. These heads are only 3° apart. I have the 3 - LW and wonder how my game would do if I drop out every other club and go to a 6° separation with the 4, 6, 8, PW, LW plus a "normal" 8i for chipping and a standard SW. It isn't a carry issue since I cart but I wonder if it might simplify things a bit. My bag is also getting super heavy for my old geezer ass to drag out of my truck and carry to the pro shop.
Honestly Rick, I have been recommending to most of my customers that they buy every other club. 6 degrees is a great loft gap for seniors (IMO). Besides, If the spec tolerance is off just a little, you could end up with a 1 or 0 degree gap. 4 6 8 W LW would be an ideal set IMO with those I-drives. Personally, my loft gaps are 12, 21, 24, 31, 40, 45, 50, 56 putter.
