scotts33 Golf forum members, esp. the ones here on GolfBuzz, are not stupid. Unless they were born yesterday, or was riding on the back of that 'tater truck on a bumpy road. I have, in the past, got my hands on a driver or 2 that actually did increase my drives around 20-30 yards. Just so happened, at the time, I was trying something different in my swing. Did I go back and see if the old driver performed equally? STFU....it was already sold off, as it should have been, by any good forum follower! 🤣
At this point in time, no driver will even increase anything but perhaps accuracy, and even with that, I'm a doubter. Launch angle, perhaps, due to the goofed up way they are making weighting now, which also could tend to influence accuracy. Swing dependent, of course.
I do believe a shaft, with the correct fit, is more responsible for increasing distance than any head that may be produced.
Believing a company's claim of +5 yards is merely for the foolish. And, imo, those types do not read threads on GolfBuzz. That all said, IF there ever came to be a driver that gave up an extra 30-50 yds., hell yes scores will go down. Considerably so.
