Played baseball thru age 18 and yes stealing signs was sought after, taught, and encouraged. But not with cameras, fans, or high tech methods. You did this on the bench, on 2nd base, and with your ears (what the 3rd base coach said). In addition you paid attention to what the pitcher was doing, how he held the ball in his glove, etc. Could sometimes be a dead give away. Cool thing about baseball is there is a lot of down time to try and figure sh1t like this out!
This MLB sign stealing is crossing the line! But this is the era we live in and it does not surprise me one bit. Baseball pretty much has two decades of irrelevant stats due to the steroid era. That was overlooked for how long? Why would anyone care about a camera in center field, lol!
