And hooray for more lofts than just 52/56/60. Wish those had been there two months ago when I ordered MG grind wedges - I still can't get the gaps right.

Looks like the STi2 irons just showed up on the website as well.

Sparky hmmmmm, look good! No specs as of yet.....hopefully similar too the original STi with improved aesthetics, and the same/similar bounce/sole grind.....something to compete against the ping g410, which has been a huge success!

colej After the discussion of whether these irons were $20 or $50, I went to take a look. I was sure that when I looked at them by clicking on the link you provided, they were $19.99.

First I went in through the "front door" of the Golfworks site, thinking that I would check out what else was new for the year. I couldn't find the irons listed on the site. So, I came back here to use the link you provided. Nope, that doesn't work anymore either. I wonder why the information on these has been taken down?

Par4QC cast head, no maraging steel face. About right for a 431ss head.

Previous version was a very good design, ping g like, but ping tends to make some gawdy looking stuff, at least for irons. And the feel was, let's say, not the best. This new design appears to look very nice, almost like a more forgiving version of the KE4 Tour+ model.

🤞 It has same.sole design or they made similar to the ts2, which is amazing through the turf!

LBlack14 not a fan of the color scheme, but clean lines, looks decent to me......the gold circle.....not.so much a fan of that but it's not a deterrent to me.....care much more about what it looks like right before I hit a shot. I think these have potential!

Willing to bet they are gonna be ballpark to the g410🤞

The first driver that I had that I thought looked big was a 240cc stainless steel knockoff of a Great Big Bertha. I thought, my God this is huge. I got it from Pro Swing I believe. I combined it with a Trident shaft that supposedly had two bend points. All I remember is that I really hit that driver well. That was my first 300+ yard driver.

PING doesn't make it ez to go non-proprietary, for sure. Golfworks and Billy Bob's are good after market sources.

sdandrea1 is it just me or do you have to jam the taper shaft down into the hosel in order to seat it correctly?

Golfworks heads are typically very nice, but too damn costly. At $49/head, plus shafts & grips, you are better off buying OEM single irons, from 1-2 yrs. ago. Most come down to $87/club, and have warranties. Component companies need to get back to what they used to be/are supposed to be......inexpensive. But, they can't, and maintain quality. They need to get out of the China foundries, like the OEMs have. Vietnam now makes heads and shafts come from Taiwan. Obviously, it's cheaper and is allowing them to snuff the component guys. Just my $.02.

I ALWAYS jam tapers into the head by holding the head and banging the shaft butt against the garage floor. 5 good whacks does it for me. This is after I spin the head onto the shaft to spread the epoxy peoperly.

I called that seller and he told me that he differentiated those shafts by whether or not they had a ferrule on them before he pulled them. I never got the impression that the tips wouldn't fit, but rather, the finished product might show where the ferrule was in the case where I was using older non-ferrule heads. I bought shafts from him that he stated were not for non-ferrule heads and they fit just fine into the older heads.

sdandrea1 ....yeah me to, just to make sure.....but this appears.to be something different, kinda like the universal hosel from GW where the shaft almost seems.to lock/wedge in the very end.

IIRC, the Golfworks universal hosel has a smaller hole bored in the bottom of the hosel so that it can accept EITHER the unitized shaft or the tapered tip....
