ode Typhoon AWT 2.0 Trying to determine if this is the right shaft for me or go with one of the other no up charge offerings, which would boil down to Dynamic Gold, KBS Tour, forget if there is anything else standard weight, maybe the dg 120
Typhoon ode Ode, the BIG thing is the AWT stands for Ascending Weight Shaft whereas the others are not. Makes a difference on how the irons feel based on that and the length of the iron. The other shafts you mentioned are not. Not sure if they are constant weight or what.
sdandrea1 I looked at a new G700 iron today. I cannot own this model. It's just humungous to my eye. G400/410 is starting to look large to me.
Rickochet sdandrea1 I looked at a new G700 iron today. I cannot own this model. It's just humungous to my eye. G400/410 is starting to look large to me. Ooh, that means I might like it. Steve, would you call it a shovel? I am used to looking down and seeing something large in my hands. 😛

govols Nothing is bigger (well probably something out there is) than the Callaway fushion wide sole irons.
ode bigshank I found a single iron used at globalgolf, it's a 5i - red dot - AWT 2.0 R flex - it's -1.0 length so I'll be extending it back .... But I've been hitting it well as is....it's just way too light overall. Likely will reshaft at some point ...but gonna extend first and see what happens.
Typhoon Do u know what color dot you should have according to static measurements and then looking at a lie board and shot direction?
ode Typhoon I'm ~ 2 flat .... Never been fit to it and base off ball flight on course. Nice thing about ping....if you can find someone with a fitting cart you have quite a few head/shaft combo with different lie options. My local guy has a fitting cart, and the g700 in his bag with the i95,s.
