Ok, I was bored(already) so I did order up 3 of these heads just to have a look see for the future. I may also have to withhold complete judgement, for the future, when I can try them on course. So, I'll give the usual visual assessment.
Unfortunately(in my mind), they do look as they were shown in ads/websites. By that, I mean they do have the outrageously thick topline, which IMO, should have been painted, not polished/matte, in order to blend the top all together. Again, also JMO, the paint will chip easily and is not top quality, as you might notice in some of the pics. A couple do have a rough feeling finish, to go along with the irregular edges. They do appear to have more offset than stated, and seem to set a bit closed at address. I'm thinking these were made mainly for the Sr. players as the numbers on the sole are as large as you'd find on speed limit signs! 🤣
I notice the toe is higher on the 6 than on the 4 & 5, so maybe this is a progression thing.
The faces are quite shallow ....which I do like.
Sole design seems like it will interact well with the turf, fw or rough.
Actual head weights are in line with specs, and in line with reg. iron head weights.
(don't be hatin' on me, Aaron)
