Ho Help - Miyazaki iron shafts on sale

RBG has them on sale....8 shafts for $12. "Made for Srixon" .... but still can't argue with a $1.50 graphite iron shaft. 0.370".

I ordered a load of them when they were $4. I now have a second load on the way.

FYI, they also are selling EvenFlow Blue 65 shafts (0.335") at 2 for $75. Heckuvadeal.

Cheap is cheap, but if you do not have the SS for them, they are useless. Correct?

I do have 1 of the driver shafts, and it is a damn nice shaft. But again, my SS is really not quite enough to get everything from the shaft.

Sparky It looks like they are back to $4 each. Now that I have the $1.50 price anchored in my mind, I can't pull the trigger at $4. But if I only knew about them at $4, I would buy.

The R flex is 72 grams. I doubt that requires tour caliber swing speed.

No, these are the shafts that Srixon used for the Z355 irons. They are parallel tip with a 5" parallel section.

They are a bit different in that they are only 39", however per Srixon, you tip 0" for the 4 iron and then 1/2" per iron after that. Most iron shafts are 41", but you tip trim 1.5" to 2.5" for a 4 iron. So the net effect is the same more or less.

Sparky 3.0 torque is where to look. That is stiff, in any flex.

And I realize there will be arguments over torque values not having anything to do with flex stiffness, but those people have only been misinformed/misled. 😃

so the 1.8 torque of steel should make any steel shaft triple X? Whether it be ladies flex?

And all steel shafts are 1.8? All lengths? All flexes? Even when, with some brands, you may tip the shaft 3" more for Stiff, the torque remains the same?

When I see a torque 'value' listed as 3.0, in a graphite iron shaft, esp. under 40", it means it's not for me. Even in A/L flex. Some, maybe most, 4.0 A/L flex shafts are too stiff.

Actually, I just posted this in hope than someone else would buy some and make me feel better. I ordered 17 Jinsoku's two weeks ago when they were $4 (along with 8 Kaula 7s at $1.50). Today I picked up another 16 Jinsokus.

What really sucks is that I MUST get to $150 for free shipping or I do not consider it a real deal. So I picked up 2 EvenFlows, 1 Kaula wood shaft, and a 13 pack grip kit (with their 20% off one item deal today) and that got me over $150. With all of these shafts, I need more grips.

If my count is right, that will give me an even 50 new iron shafts in my garage. Glad I picked up those Purefit iron heads on here a month or two ago.

I have a “ set “ of project x satins .370 if anyone is interested. I’ll never use them. A couple strange lengths since only some were used so it would make for a nice soft stepped set
