I hear ya, Mike. I think it is good to ask lots of questions. I recall hearing before the trial they'd found marijuana in Botham's apartment. Now, there's a reported drug dealer living across the hall who sells marijuana?
How many police officers live in buildings like Amber Guyger did? In all of recorded history that we know about have we ever heard a story like what Amber Guyger did? When it's that isolated of an outlier you have to start wondering if there's more to it than has ever been reported. She shot to kill. Did not have to. A lot of this makes no sense with the current story that we've heard in court and otherwise.
When I worked in law enforcement, two officers that I dealt with all the time got fired for taking drugs found on arrestees and selling them themselves for a tidy profit. The scheme ran for quite some time before they were caught and fired. Most people wouldn't believe such a thing if they had an alternate story to go along with it that was more palatable to their sensibilities.
Drugs=Big money. Guyger is on the floor with the drug dealer with the guy who reportedly had marijuana in his home who lived next to a drug dealer? She shot to kill when she didn't have to? Of course, it is entirely possible the story we've heard is true. It is also entirely possible the story we've been told is not true. The people who would believe an alternate possibility are the labeled wackos and conspiracy theorists. Believing a particular thing about how the Guyger thing went down will affect your view of Brown's death. Fitting those pieces together and squaring them is something not many are really going to spend time and energy doing but I think it's a worthwhile endeavor even though you're going to be called a nut for engaging in it.
