Peter, I don't watch much TV over the air at all. Explain how my reality is distorted? Your reality is no less free of the possibility of distortion than mine. The only thing I watch on TV is NFL games or NHL games. I very rarely watch any TV news anymore. If you're asking how I know the news is showing things I've seen on Twitter days later it's because I see CNN, NBC, AP, etc. picking up clips I watched moments after they happened on Twitter. There is no news source that you rely on that I can't find on Twitter. None. I follow all kinds of news accounts. Many I don't agree with but I follow to read how they're presenting things. I'd say I'm far less distorted than most because I choose to read multiple perspectives.
Twitter is what you say it is for sure, but it is also much more than that as well. Again, YOU control what it is you want to see. It's like Netflix vs. over the air TV.
I love the suggestion of a BJ because I understand what Twitter is and you don't. I get it you Luddite. Change is hard. The world can move too fast. Understandable, but to lash out at me because you want to keep driving 55 in slow lane is a personal choice you've made. Twitter is unrivaled for news. You may mock Twitter but the majority of the news you get on POTUS is from Twitter. TV picks it up and speaks to what was tweeted. That's reality.
Oh, and I posted a sampling of things you can see on Twitter. Tell me what is fake in the above or would distort one's reality? You learn things there you aren't learning as easily anywhere else.
