New M4 12 degree Drivers on eBay around $100

I’ve been watching and bidding for a week or so on these. Finally won one. They have senior shafts, maybe ladies too. The bidding was driving prices up into the 120’s at the peak, but I see they are now down to 100 ish. Mine went for $103.50. HC and wrench included. They are described as mint, 9.5+++, etc. Sellers are KSouth9, tee2green, and Quickshipgolf. It looks like there are a few days worth still up for auction. Good luck. Steve. 🙃

I've been blocked by that seller. I returned a club once using his return policy and he blocked me. You've been warned.

KSouth and Quickshipgolf. I think they are the same business because I only returned one item (KSouth) and got blocked by both.

FACT...Ksouth and quickship are the same company. Read all the negatives as just because you have won an item you still need to keep your fingers crossed that what you receive is the same. ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS pay either of these where you can dispute the transaction. This is the voice of experience speaking as I am also blocked.

Yep. I bought what I thought was a set of Adams hybrid irons in very good condition. What I got was rough condition. I used the eBay/Ksouth return process and it took weeks to get my refund after they received the return. No response to messages either. I was blocked after that.

Reviews are not great on these sellers. I almost bought from each but did my research and abstained. If it's too good to be true, then it probably is. Can't understand how they are still operating with so many bad reviews. But we all know what PT Barnum said.....
I would tread with CAUTION!!!

Yeah, there's a thread on golfwrx that outlines many bad experiences. I've bought from quickshipgolf many times with no issues- fast shipping and got some good deals since everything is auctioned. I'll probably keep buying from them until i have a bad experience

The owner of our local golf store has a pretty good eBay store going. He knows of at least one TM club sold by QuickShip that was counterfeit. It came into his store as a trade in (attempted anyway).

sdandrea1 Yes that concerns me. You wouldn't think anyone would fake 12 degree drivers and senior shafts, but who knows. I'll be checking it out to the best of my ability. Anyone know if TM uses serial numbers?

On the flip side, these guys have several hundred thousand ebay transactions. If they were in the habit of selling fakes, I cannot believe that by now the industry would not have taken legal action against them.

Most companies today will tell you the serial numbers are not of use for verification. They can be faked as well as the club itself.(normally posted in their website's FAQs)

I wonder if the fakes they sold were from trade-ins. Doesn't excuse it but can explain how some clubs fall through the cracks. I do know that they sell a lot of stuff that doesn't match the pictures. Sometimes you get lucky and get something in much better condition or even brand new and other times the opposite happens.

I got the driver. I am satisfied that it is authentic. It looks first rate. There is the paper underlay remains of a store label that has been ripped off the shaft. I doubt that a counterfeiter would go to that level of detail. The face has a small scratch that looks like shop wear. The grip does not have that cheap rubber smell. Yes, that's a thing. You can blind smell test a Karma velvet versus a GP or Lamkin. 🙂

It came with HC and wrench.

For those who care, it's 45.5", D3. In the Neutral setting it wants to sit slightly open on a carpet. Can't say about on turf. In the Higher loft settings it sits more closed on the carpet.

Sounds like you made out OK. Those sellers have THOUSANDS of sale transactions with positive feedback, so the odds were with you.

I won a black R15 for $7.50. It showed up 3 days later, brand new, in the plastic, with everything included.

98% positive. The only gripe I had was misrepresented condition and difficult to return.

Actually 99%. On eBay that’s my bottom line that I will consider buying from.
